Jennifer Trunk

Jennifer is a Lawyer at Douglas Law Firm, practicing in Real Estate and Corporate Law. With a background in insurance defence, Jennifer began her legal career defending Ontario realtors and brokerages at one of the province’s leading law firms. She later worked at a Toronto firm representing condominium corporations before moving to Barrie to broaden her practice as a solicitor.
Having lived in multiple cities across two countries, Jennifer understands the challenges and opportunities that come with moving and is passionate about helping clients navigate these transitions smoothly. Jennifer earned her Bachelor of Arts in Criminology and Psychology from Carleton University in Ottawa before attending law school at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, on an academic scholarship. She then returned home to complete her articles at a Toronto law firm.
In addition to her legal work, Jennifer is actively involved in her community, volunteering with the MS Walk and participating as a marcher in Toronto’s Santa Claus Parade. Her previous volunteer work includes serving as an equine leader for the Community Association for Riders with Disabilities and fostering animals for various Humane Societies in Canada and the U.S. Outside of work, Jennifer enjoys traveling, with recent trips to Dubai, Singapore, and Thailand, as well as hobbies like calligraphy and gardening. She is a devoted pet owner to two cats, Ember and Ash. Jennifer is a key part of Douglas Law Firm, and we are proud to have her on our team.
