Manbir is a Lawyer at Douglas Law Firm, focusing his practice on Wills & Estates, and Real Estate Law. After obtaining his undergraduate degree from York University, Manbir completed law school at the University of Birmingham in the United Kingdom. He then returned to Canada and attended Osgoode Hall Law School to obtain his Masters in Law.
Manbir began his career at Douglas Law Firm as a student through the Toronto Metropolitan University LPP Program before being hired as an Associate Lawyer in June 2021. Manbir appreciates the firm culture at Douglas Law Firm because there is an openness and collaborative effort towards law. This has helped him grow, become more knowledgeable and confident about his legal practice. The goal of Manbir’s practice is to provide advice and assistance to clients in a way that is personal and tailored to their own history and experiences whether it be their religious, cultural or orientational background. Outside of the office, Manbir enjoys reading and researching history.
His favourite eras include British History, South Asian History and Chinese History. He also enjoys listening to podcasts and reading primary documents in order to have a better understanding of particular periods of history. Manbir is a key component of Douglas Law Firm and we are proud to have him working for us.
