Francesca Giannotti is a Legal Assistant and Receptionist at our Barrie office, where she provides administrative and client support while helping ensure the day-to-day operations of the firm run smoothly. Francesca brings a wealth of legal and client-service experience to her role, along with a genuine passion for helping others and taking pride in everything she does.

Before joining Douglas Law Firm, Francesca spent nearly six years as an Intake Coordinator in Simcoe County, where she developed extensive experience assisting clients and managing the initial stages of their legal inquiries. Prior to that, she worked for two years as a Legal Assistant and Clerk at a boutique law firm in Vaughan. Earlier in her career, Francesca spent eight years as an in-house Process Server for a Toronto law firm, gaining valuable insight into the legal process and developing a strong understanding of the importance of organization, communication, and attention to detail.

What Francesca enjoys most about working at Douglas Law Firm is the people. She appreciates being part of a supportive and collaborative team where everyone works together and she knows she can count on the people around her. Francesca’s motivation for pursuing a career in the legal field comes from her genuine enjoyment of helping others and her strong work ethic. She takes great pride in her work and approaches everything she does with care and dedication. As Francesca puts it, “I love hard and I work hard.”

Francesca completed her Law Clerk program at Humber College, graduating in 2007. Her education, combined with many years of hands-on experience in different areas of the legal profession, has given her a well-rounded understanding of the legal environment and the skills needed to provide dependable support to both clients and colleagues.

Outside of work, Francesca loves spending as much time outdoors as possible. She enjoys fishing, hunting, boating, camping, and road trips with her husband and their son. Whether they are exploring somewhere new or enjoying time together outside, family and making memories are at the heart of how Francesca spends her free time.
