Nicole Osigwe

Articling Student

We’re excited to welcome back Nicole Osigwe as she rejoins Douglas Law Firm in her new role as an Articling Student!

Nicole is a recent graduate of Osgoode Hall Law School and previously worked with us as a law student. She brings valuable experience in Real Estate, Wills & Estates, and Family Law, along with a strong client service background from TD Canada Trust, where she held several roles including Manager, Customer Experience. Her legal experience also includes positions at the Toronto Crown Attorney’s Office (Ontario Court of Justice) and Hicks Adams LLP, where she assisted with legal research, case preparation, and court proceedings.

Nicole’s path to a legal career is rooted in her passion for helping people navigate complex legal and financial matters. While initially interested in criminal law, she discovered her strengths and interests were best applied in Real Estate, Wills & Estates, and Family Law—areas where she can build lasting client relationships and offer clear, practical solutions. Her banking background has enhanced her financial literacy and problem-solving skills, which she now applies to support and empower clients in making informed decisions.

Nicole holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Criminology from York University and is an active member of the Black Law Students Association (BLSA) and Black Future Lawyers (BFL).

Outside of her professional life, Nicole enjoys playing sports, going to the gym, and indulging her passion for beauty and self-care. She unwinds with crime shows and cherishes time with her family and friends, especially her role in caring for her younger siblings. As she begins her articling journey, Nicole looks forward to continuing her growth, expanding her legal expertise, and exploring new cultures through travel.
