Stephanie Martinez is a Lawyer at Douglas Law Firm, practicing primarily in the areas of Family Law, Wills & Estates, and Real Estate. With 20 years of experience in the legal field, Stephanie brings a wealth of knowledge and practical insight to her clients, having worked her way through the profession as a Legal Assistant, Law Clerk, Paralegal, and now as a Lawyer.
Stephanie is a strong advocate in and out of the courtroom. Since 2021, her practice has been focused primarily on Family Law, where she provides compassionate, practical, and results-oriented representation. She also assists clients with estate planning and administration, as well as residential real estate transactions.
In addition to her Juris Doctor from Bond University and admission to the Ontario Bar in 2018, Stephanie holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Dispute Resolution from Osgoode Hall Law School at York University. She is also in the process of completing her certification as a Qualified Mediator, further expanding her ability to help clients resolve disputes effectively and efficiently outside of litigation.
Stephanie is an active member of the Simcoe County Law Association, Canadian Hispanic Bar Association, and York Region Law Association. Fully fluent in English and Spanish, she is proud to serve a diverse client base with diligence and care.
Outside of her practice, Stephanie enjoys travelling, playing and watching soccer, and spending quality time with her family.
